My love for baking started when I was 12 years old. After immigrating from Ethiopia to the USA, my family lived in a basement without a kitchen, so when we eventually had one, it quickly became my favorite room in the house. I spent hours watching Rosanna Pansino videos and dreaming about all the things I wanted to bake.
Today, I love creating simple, beginner-friendly recipes that are easy to make and don’t require spending all day in the kitchen. I started this blog to share my passion for baking, continue growing my skills, and preserve some of the Ethiopian recipes and flavors I grew up with.
One day, I hope to attend pastry school and open my own bakery. Until then, I’m excited to share this journey and lots of delicious recipes with you.
